So, if you have been following along, you know that I have now moved home to Colorado and have started settling in. If you haven’t been following a long and are shocked, well surprise! You can get caught up here, here, and here.
While I am waiting for my hubby to follow me here, He is still stuck in DC for another month, I have been filling my time visiting my parents, old friends and soaking up the sweet Colorado air.
The first morning I woke up here in Colorado, I was still set on East Coast time and got up with the sun. I am so glad I did, because there is nothing like a Colorado sunrise in the mountains. My parents live in a little mountain town called Evergreen where I was raised. There is just nothing like it. I think it’s the closest thing to Heaven. The next day, I was even more blessed with new blanket of fresh snow. And when it began to melt, you could see the yellow from the Aspens come through. It was breathtaking.
Ah. You all need to visit Colorado at some point in your life. Or just move here. Seriously, though.
And if you needed some more convincing, here are some pictures for you!
And now, if you wanted to see where I spent half of my childhood, here a few pictures of my parent’s home including some precious pictures of my dog, Lucas and kitty, Gabby.
This one below is a picture of my bridal bouquet. It dried so well!
There really is no place like home.
Where is home for you?
