At Home with Flourish and Hope: The Entry Way
Hey sweet friends! Today I am sharing just a very small room in our house but just as special because it is the very first room you see when you come into our sweet house. I have tried to make is personal, stylish, and as always full of white ;).
Hey busy mamas or those of you who love your animals, travels, hobbies, life, and you want to document it but don’t know how, or where to start, or the idea of scrapbooking just makes your stomach turn. I have found one of the best ways to scrapbook and it’s so simple! For reals, simple. And in case you need proof, I scrapbooked our Mancub’s first year while starting and running a business, learning how to be a mom, being a photographer, and catching up on all seasons of How I Met Your Mother.
Needless to say, it was a busy year, and I scrapbooked the heck out of the 1st year of our sweet baby boy’s life.
my favorite keto snacks
Yes, yes I have been sucked into the koolaide drinking world of Keto. It has been tough at times but guys, I have to be honest, it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I do know this sounds super trendy because I had a waiter tell me that it was but… trendy or not, I feel great.
the well: part three
Read Psalm 77:1-3
“I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me. When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted. I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.”
Woah David. Just woah. Can you feel the anguish in his words? This verse is what I imagine our woman at the well feeling. Day after day in her dwelling, on her mat at night with tears streaming down her face, asking for the Lord. Her spirit growing faint within her…
My Best Kept Secret
Hey sweet friends. I thought I would share something less emotional today… but just as dear to my heart ;). If you know me, and know me not even that well, you may have heard me talk about my love for SHOES. If you are new to this blog, you may not know that I own a cute boutique called Blush. So, since my day to day job is all things clothing, shoes naturally come along with that.
Hello sweet friends.
One of the goals I have made for myself this year was to be more vulnerable. Not just in who I am but in my faith. For me, it has always been scary for me to speak the truth about what my heart feels for Jesus, not on a surface level, but in the deep secret places. While I believe some of this should be between me and the Lord, I do feel that he has called me to speak up, speak out, and at least just speak his truth. I have never considered myself blessed with eloquence when it comes to actually speaking, especially about my faith, but I have felt the desire to write for awhile.
Hey sweet friends. It’s been awhile since I have been able to stop and breath it feels like. So much has happened in the last few months and it feels only right to share the biggest part of my life right now other than our sweet Mancub, who is about to be 2! Why do babies grow so much?
i stand here
Oh sweet friend, thank you for meeting me here again and for reading my heart. It’s never easy to spill yourself all over the internet especially if you are about to get vulnerable. Hold on tight, because I am about to share some pretty deep stuff.
