I still can’t believe our little baby boy is two months old. He has his daddy’s eyes, face, charm, just about everything amazing from his dad, and mostly just my nose. But he is about the cutest thing since ever. We never really got around to newborn photos because I was just an emotional mess but no excuse…
So here is our little baby boy in our front yard rolling around in the fall leaves. Two of my most favorite things.
I have had the pleasure of taking Emily’s (my best friend from high school) pictures for several years. I have taken her engagement, her maternity, and now her sweet families pictures. Her son has the most beautiful eyes, and we always leave their shoots laughing! I can’t help but share some of my favorite pictures from our shoot.
Motherhood. What an amazing, life changing, sleep depriving, messy, milk stained, life. But oh so wonderful.
I have been wanting to write my feelings down for a couple of weeks after our sweet little boy was born, but I wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t be all baby blues and tears. I also wanted it to be as honest as it could be, as to encourage but be real with all those looking at motherhood for the first time.
I also love having friends that have babies. This past month, I had the opportunity of taking family photos of one of my oldest and dearest friends. She has married the love of her life and they made the most adorable baby. Plus have you ever seen a baby with a natural mohawk? It’s the cutest thing ever.
There is just something about little sisters with sweet smiles. Add some wands, bubbles, feather boas, and you get three little fairy princesses. I had the amazing opportunity of taking pictures of the daughters of some of our dearest friends. We laughed, ran, played, smelled flowers, and made up fairy names.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of seeing an old friend and her sweet little baby. He was just so cute and his eyes! HIS EYES! They are so amazing; my camera loved them and I just fell in love. I didn’t do anything to make them pop; I promise!
